There’s a fallacy that you have to be struggling in order to improve, but it’s not true. Coaching is used to help people build on strengths and go from good to great.
Your coach will help you identify talents and techniques that you have forgotten about and uncover skills, strengths and strategies that you can use to help you get the results you want.
You will find motivation and gain momentum towards your goal. Together with your coach you will anticipate the obstacles you may meet along the way, creating a clear plan for how to deal with them. Small steps will become giant strides and soon your destination will be in your sights.
You might use your coach as a sounding board, motivator, authority figure, carrot or stick – it is up to you. Whatever it takes for you to reach your goal, your coach will adapt to support you. It will be fun too – creating success always is!
